- (reigned c. 2667–2648 BC)Horus name of a king of Dynasty 3 and probable successor to Djoser. His personal name is uncertain, possibly Djoser Teti. His unfinished pyramid at Saqqarawas excavated between 1951 and 1954 by Zakaria Goneim, an Egyptian archaeologist, but Sekhemkhet’s closed sarcophagus was found empty.
